Leucophenga longipenis View in CoL sp. nov.

( Figs. 2 View FIGURE 2 D, 4C–F, 5J–L, 9)

Diagnosis. This species differs from the other Asian species of the argentata group by having the mesonotum mostly brownish in male ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 C) and entirely brownish yellow in female ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 E), and the aedeagus dorsolaterally with an acute process and distolaterally with a thin process ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 D).

Description. Ocellar triangle brownish, with ca. 2–4 setae above ocellar setae. Frons yellow in male, yellowish to brownish yellow in female. Pedicel yellowish in male, yellow in female; first flagellomere yellow. Clypeus brownish yellow. Palpus brownish yellow. Postpronotal lobe yellowish in male ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 D), yellow in female ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 F). Acrostichal setulae in ca. 8–10 irregular rows ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 C, E). Scutellum brown, dark brown laterally and yellowish at tip in male ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 C), brownish yellow, dark brown laterally and yellow at tip in female ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 E). Pleura, katepisternum and meron yellow to yellowish ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 D, F). Wing ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 D): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with ca. 4–7 peg-like spinules on ventral surface. All abdominal tergites with brown to black patches in both male and female ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 J–L). Male terminalia: Epandrium pubescent medially and near posterior margin, with ca. 5 setae near posterior margin and ventral corner per side ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 A). Paramere triangular, narrowed apically, with ca. 2 sensilla submedially ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 C).
