Type locality. Estacahuite Beach, Puerto Ángel , Oaxaca (15°40’5.1’N, 96°28’53.3’’W) .

Type material. Two specimens. Holotype : as sagittal sections: UMAR PLAT-036 (sagittal sections of reproductive structures in ten slides; Estacahuite Beach, Puerto Ángel, Oaxaca, southern Mexican Pacific ; under rocks, 4 m, Oct 6, 2013, coll. MRS). Paratype : One specimen as whole mount: UMAR PLAT-040 , 1 spec. (Estacahuite Beach, Puerto Ángel , Oaxaca, same as holotype) .
