Episinus albostriatus Levi, 1964a: 12 View in CoL , figs. 5–7.
Note The epigynum of Episinus albostriatus ( Simon, 1895) (see Levi, 1964a, figs. 5, 6) is similar to that of Chrosiothes venturosus Marques & Buckup, 1997 (see Puchulú-Figueiredo et al., 2017, figs. 16, 17) and C. murici Puchulú-Figueiredo et al. (2017) (see Puchulú-Figueiredo et al., 2017, figs. 11, 12) by the presence of larger reniform spermathecae, and is similar to Chrosiothes by the shape of the abdomen and carapace without the two conical tubercles behind the anterior median eyes. This species is readily distinguished from the others Episinus and Janula ; therefore, it is transferred here to Chrosiothes .
