The FSCA has specimens from Lago de Ayapel. The species has been previously recorded from Venezuela, Bolivia and Argentina ( Metcalf 1963a; De Santis et al. 2007; Sanborn 2007a).
Material examined. “ COLOMBIA, Lago de Ayapel , viii.21.1963, #2131 FN Young” (one male FSCA; one male, AFSC) .
