Harpagobaetis gulosus Mol

Harpagobaetis gulosus Mol, 1986: 65 ; Salles & Lugo-Ortiz 2002: 155; Domínguez et al. 2006: 159.

Male imago. Length: body 5.4 mm, forewing 4.2 mm, hind wing 0.9 mm, cerci 10.0 mm. General colouration yellowish-brown. Colouration of head yellowish-white, with brown marks. Antennae whitish washed with brown. Turbinate eye with dorsal portion orange-reddish, basal half of stalk brownish ( Figs. 1, 2, 4, 5 ).

Pronotum yellowish-brown; mesonotum brown, except for areas along sutures and between posteroscutellar protuberances, yellowish; metanotum yellowish anteriorly and brown posteriorly ( Figs. 1, 2 ). Legs yellowish-white washed with brown. Leg I: tibia 1.7× length of femur, tarsi 1.2× length of femur and with segments decreasing in length apically. Legs II and III: tibia 1.2× length of femur, tarsi half the length of femur. Wings membrane hyaline, costal area whitish, veins white. Hindwing membrane hyaline, veins white.

Abdominal terga and sterna I–VI translucent, segments VII to X whitish; terga VI and VII with red marks ( Figs. 1, 3 ). Cerci whitish.

Falcão . 1 male imago (reared): Brazil, Roraima, Município de Amajarí, Rio Ereu , 04°02'00.5"N / 61°23'11.7"W, 05.ii.2007, J.N. Falcão . 2 male imagos (reared): Brazil, Roraima, Município de Boa Vista, Rio Cauamé , 02°52'06.0"N, 60°44'24.4"W, 08.ii.2007, J.N. Falcão .
