Ecology. Epigeic species that occurs in the litter of loamy soils and in floodplains ( Höser 1990), characterized as an alpine species by Csuzdi & Zicsi (2003).
Zoogeographical distribution type. Eastern-Alpine species occurring in Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine ( Csuzdi & Zicsi 2003), Romania (Höser 2011) and Germany.
Distribution in Germany. Central Germany ( Höser 1990, 2012), northern Germany ( Graefe 1993), eastern Germany ( Dunger et al. 1972).
