Ecology. Epigeic species occurring mostly in the organic layer of forest sites ( Bösener 1965; Jänsch et al. 2013), acido-tolerant ( Satchell 1955; Sims & Gerard 1999).
Zoogeographical distribution type. Peregrine, widespread Palaearctic species that has been introduced worldwide ( Csuzdi & Zicsi 2003).
Distribution in Germany.
