Ecology. Endogeic species known from only three places in Germany, one in a vineyard ( Becker 1999), one in a garden ( Wurst et al. 2005) and one in a deciduous forest ( Höser 2001).
Zoogeographical distribution type. Native to the Palaearctic and widely distributed in southern Eurasia and northern Africa ( Csuzdi & Zicsi 2003). Trans-Aegean distribution (Hackenberger Kutuzović & Hackenberger Kutuzović 2013).
Distribution in Germany. Central Germany ( Höser 2001); southern Germany ( Becker 1999); western Germany ( Wurst et al. 2005).
