Remarks. Poore et al. (2019) revised the familial and generic classification of the Callianassidae on the basis of phylogenetic pattern inferred by molecular analyses by Robles et al. (2020). The genus Pestarella Ngoc-Ho, 2003 (type species: Astacus tyrrhenus Petagna, 1792 ) was synonymized with Gilvossius Manning & Felder, 1992 (type species: Gonodactylus setimanus DeKay, 1844 ), and then three species once assigned to Pestarella by Ngoc-Ho (2003), Cancer candida Olivi, 1792 , Astacus tyrrhenus and Callianassa whitei Sakai, 1999 , were reassigned to Gilvossius again.
