Material examined. Philippines: 5, Palawan, Inaguana River Valley , 31 January 1988, Ficus sp. , ant attended (J. H. Martin) ( BMNH). Dry and slide mounted .

Comments. Species of the psylloptera type. Similar to P. maculipennis Uichanco and P. longiantennata sp. n. from which it diVers in the anntennal agellar ratios and in the dark veins of the forewing. In the absence of additional material including males, the species is not formally described.
