Material examined. Malaysia: 1, Perak, Taiping , 300 m, 14 March 1994 (K. Matsumoto) ( TULE); 1?, Borneo , Sabah, Tinanamantawaran, near Ranau , 800 m, at light, June 1983 (S. Nagai) ( MHNG) .

Comments. Species of the psylloptera type. Similar to P. distincta sp. n. but diVers in the absence of surface spinules on the forewing and the diVerent shape of the genitalia. In the absence of better preserved material, the species is not formally described.
