Ectinosoma carnivora sp. n.

Type material: 29 females and 15 males. Locality : village Bering Point, SE-Andros, Bahamas (24 ss 28 ¾ N, 77 ss 44 ¾ W). The holotype (female from culture, 7 July 1995) is dissected and mounted on six slides [Coll. No. 1997.23/1±1997.23/6]. The allotype (male from culture, 7 July 1995) is dissected and mounted on ®ve slides [Coll. No. 1997.24/1±1997.24/5]. Of the paratypes (culture, 17 December 1993 ± 7 July 1995) two males and four females are dissected. One male and one female paratypes are stored in the Copepod Collection of the AG Zoomorphologie, UniversitaÈt Oldenburg [Paratype 1, female: Coll. No. 1997.25/1±1997.25/6; Paratype 2, male Coll. No. 1997.26/1±1997.26/6].
