Type material. NMNZ M.1674, holotype .
Distribution. New Zealand ( Webster 1906; Suter 1907; Suter 1913; Odhner 1924; Finlay 1926; Powell 1979).
Remarks. Marshall (1983) considered Triphora infelix a junior synonym of Triphoris pallida Pease, 1871 .
