Etymology. The specific epithet is taken from its similarity to O. liupan Hu & Zhang, 2011 ; noun in apposition.

Diagnosis. The new species is closely related and very similar to O. liupan ( Hu & Zhang 2011: 60, figs 1 – 7), but differs from the latter by the wide separation between the tip of the RTA and the base of the cymbium in the retrolateral view, and the stronger and less curved tegular process of its male palp ( Figs 5 View FIGURE 5 A–C, 6C–E); females are distinguished by the narrow median plate, the small bursae that do not overlap and are much longer than wide, and the stronger, inwardly curved spermathecae of the epigyne ( Figs 5 View FIGURE 5 D–E, 6F–G).

Description. Male. Total length 3.31–3.97. Holotype ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 A) total length 3.84. Prosoma 1.82 long, 1.52 wide; opisthosoma 1.99 long, 1.29 wide. Dorsum of prosoma black brown. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.10, ALE 0.11, PME 0.09, PLE 0.10; AME–AME 0.07, AME–ALE 0.02, PME–PME 0.12, PME–PLE 0.07, ALE–PLE 0.10. MOA 0.31 long, front width 0.25, back width 0.31. Sternum yellow brown, heart-shaped with sparse brown hairs. Legs yellow brown, femur with one dorsal spine. Femur I with four prolateral spines; tibia I with seven pairs of ventral spines; metatarsus I with four pairs of ventral spines. Femur II with three prolateral spines; tibia II with six pairs of ventral spines; metatarsus II with four pairs of ventral spines. Leg measurements: I 7.21 (1.84, 2.72, 1.72, 0.93); II 5.92 (1.54, 2.12, 1.35, 0.91); III 4.98 (1.46, 1.36, 1.40, 0.76); IV 8.10 (2.20, 2.55, 2.29, 1.06). Leg formula: 4123. Opisthosoma oval. Male palp ( Figs 5 View FIGURE 5 A–C, 6C–E). Femoral ventral apophysis present. RTA with wide base extending dorsally, tip finger-shaped. Embolus wide and hook-like. Sperm duct sclerotized. Tegular process originating anteroretrolaterally, almost same width as embolus in retrolateral view. Tegulum widest in middle part, its posterior margin almost reaching ventral apex of tibia retrolaterally.

Female total length 4.02–4.30. One paratype (from Jiangkou County, Taiping Town, Kaiwen Village, Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 B) total length: 4.13.
