6 (5). Both sexes: head very short, 1.15–1.2 times as wide as high; posterior areas of T2–T4 with hair bands (band of Т2 interrupted medially). Male: supraclypeal area with distinct rounded tubercle on lower portion; antenna short, reaching only metanotum; metasoma wide, flattened (as in female); membranous retrorse lobe of gonocoxite very narrow and long, rounded at apex; gonostylus with teardrop-shaped prominence at apex. Female: mesoscutum sparsely punctate, interspaces polished. ........................................................................................................................ 4. – Both sexes: head usually higher; metasomal terga without posterior hair bands. Male: supraclypeal area without tubercle; antenna usually longer; metasoma narrow, cylindrical; membranous retrorse lobe of gonocoxite and gonostylus usually not as above. Female: mesoscutum more densely punctate, shagreened on interspaces, dull at least on anterior third ........................................................... 7
