Both sexes: head at least as high as wide (except for E. resplendens , the head of which is transversely elliptical in frontal view); pubescence of mesosoma relatively long and dense, usually brownish yellow in females (in fresh individuals). Male: membranous lobe of gonocoxite broad; gonostylus large, rounded or elliptical.
