Diagnosis: Antennal segment I tumescent, length equal to or longer than combined length of head and pronotum; antennal segment I with micro setae shorter than half the width of segment; vertex with redlines on each side of inner margins of eyes; proctiger long, surpassing the end of genital capsule by half its length. Endosoma with four spicules, three with sharp apex, and one with granulate surface ( Ferreira et al. 2013b).

Distribution: Colombia ( Ferreira et al. 2013 b) (new record).

Plant associations: Poaceae : Avena sativa ; Dactylis glomerata; Holcus lannatus ; Lolium multiflorum ; L. perenne ; and Pennisetum clandestinum ( Ferreira et al. 2013b)

Specimens examined: Paratypes, Boyacá: 1 ♂ Buenavista [5°30'46,6''N; 73°56'34,3''W] 2205m, 2009, P. Osorio, host: grasses (UFVB). 2 ♂ Togüi, Finca Versalles, Light trap, I. de Arévalo, 1.ii.1978 (ICN-UNC). Cundinamarca: 15 ♂ 13♀ with the same label information as holotype (CTNI) 11 ♂ 9 ♀ Mosquera [4°41'40,1''N; 74°12'14,8''W] 2542m, iv.2011, P. Osorio (UFVB). 18 ♂ 8 ♀ Mosquera, [4°41'40,1''N; 74°12'14,8''W] 28.xii.2009, P. Osorio and N. Barreto, host: P. clandestinum . Lolium sp., Holcus lanatus (UFVB).
