Material examined. OLH, 2 spcs, H = 7–8 mm, IVICCM000150.

Ecology. Inside shallow mangrove lagoons (1–2 m deep) with muddy bottom and abundant brown and green algae (only empty shells).

Distribution. ABC Islands, Brazil, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Cuba, Guadeloupe, Mexico, Puerto Rico, USA, Virgin Islands, Venezuela (Morrocoy: Bitter et al. 2009).
