2. Dichotomius annae Kohlmann and Solís, 1997 View in CoL is distributed from Mexico to Panama ( Schoolmeesters 2020). In El Salvador, it is widelY distributed in the countrY and associated with open areas. However, it can be found within forests but in low numbers ( Horgan 2008; Kohlmann and Solís 1997; Pablo-Cea et al. 2020). It is one of the largest scarab beetles in the park.
