Host/habitat: Levuana iridescens ( Zygaenidae ), Promecotheca bicolor , P. caerulipennis , P. opacicollis and P. reichei ( Chrysomelidae ).
Distribution: Unspecified ( Tothill 1927; Swaine 1971), all the larger islands and Lau group ( Taylor 1936, 1937).
Remarks: This species was first recorded from Fiji as Pediculoides ventricosus by A.G. Carment in 1921 (noted by Taylor 1937).
