Justification: UF 183042 (1, 350 mm SL) and UF 183377 (1, 270 mm SL), both Lang Bank .
Distribution: WA (FL, GOM, BA, GA, VI, LA, WC, nSA).
Remarks: This is a relatively deep-water lizardfish but is included here because it has been reported to occur in depths as shallow as 40 m ( McEachran and Fechhelm, 1998).
