Natural History: Very little is published about the life history of this species. Mawdsley (2002) reported it on flowers of western soapberry ( Sapindus drummondii ) in Kansas from label data. It has also been reared from galls

( Sabrosky 1934). Label data above indicate collections by sweeping and Malaise traps.
