Site of infection: kidney. Recruitment: penetration.

Distribution: Canada: New Brunswick (McAlpine 1997). USA: Pennsylvania ( Fried & Bradford, 1997).

Specimens in collections: NBM: 1493.

Remarks: Identification of Canada material was based on adult specimens obtained from experimental infection in Gallus gallus .
