Distribution: USA: Louisiana ( Shoop 1985, experimental life cycle); Michigan ( Bosma 1934).
No specimens in collections.
Remarks: Tadpoles have been reported as experimental second intermediate host of several species of Alaria ( Johnson 1968) .
