Site of infection: intestine.
Recruitment: ingestion.
Distribution: Canada: Ontario ( Baker 1986b).
Specimens in collections: CMNPA: 1986-0003.
Remarks: H. pendula and H. siredonis are the only two valid Hedruris species distributed in North America ( Baker 1986b) parasitizing aquatic vertebrates.
