Glyptothorax panda Ferraris & Britz 2005 ZBK : 376, figs. 1-2 [Ichthyol. Explor. Freshwaters]. Upper Irrawaddy River drainage, hill stream 8 mi. from Kamaing on road to Tanai, vicinity of Myitkyina , Kachin State, Myanmar. Holotype: USNM 384824 . Paratypes: BMNH 2005.7.4.1-10 (10); USNM 384825 (13).

Distribution: Irrawaddy drainage, Myanmar (Ferraris & Britz, 2005).
