( Figs 6–15 View FIGURES 6 – 10 View FIGURES 11 – 15 )
Diagnosis. The only species so far known in the genus, with two distinct triangular bodies of endophallic denticles; hypandrium broad, with posterior border slightly convex in the middle and with a row of long setae ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ). Subgenital plate with a slender posterior projection in the middle ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 11 – 15 ); V1 slender, elongate, V2 +3 wide based, narrowing distally, with a distinct spinose apex ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 11 – 15 ).
Male. Color. Body tawny brown, compound eyes black, legs pale yellow, forewings pale yellow, veins pale brown ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ), hindwings yellowish, almost transparent. Tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax pale brown, abdomen creamy, with pale brown, subcuticular, transverse bands. Clunial projection creamy, with brown border; epiproct creamy with border pale brown, paraprocts creamy with a circular area pale brown. Hypandrium pale brown.
Morphology. As in diagnosis plus the following: Head vertex slightly concave in the middle ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ). Upper border of compound eyes not reaching the level of the vertex. Forewing L/W: 2.47 ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ). Forewing pterostigma elongate, wider distally, lp/wp: 3.26, without setae in the membrane. Areola postica triangular ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ). Hindwing L/W: 2.76 ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ). Clunium projected over the bases of epiproct and paraprocts ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ); projection over the epiproct concave, with postero-lateral corners rounded; projection over each paraproct rounded ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ). Phallosome ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ), with aedeagal arch narrow, projected posteriorly, the projection about as long as each arm; external parameres slender, with spiny apices curved outwards. Paraprocts ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ), broad, with few setae; sensory fields with 15–16 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Epiproct ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 6 – 10 ), wider than long, posteriorly rounded, setae as illustrated.
