(holotype G-DC 324088!, isotype B [destroyed, negative F 34634View Materials!]). = Acalypha vincentina Urban (1930: 222)  , syn. nov. Lectotype (designated here):― SAINT VINCENT AND THE

GRANADINES: hab. in St. Vincent in sylva montis Montrose Hills, 200˗400 m, December 1889, H. F. A. Eggers 6566 ( US 

96422!, isolectotypes A!, P [2 sheets]!).― Syntype: SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRANADINES. In vallibus et sylvis in latere Windward dicto communis, 170–500 m, April–June, Smith 246 ( B [destroyed])  .

Distribution:— America. Caribbean: Cuba, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Notes:— This species has not been found again on the island of Cuba. Acalypha vincentina  was described from Saint Vincent Island, in the Lesser Antilles. After studying the type collections, we did not find sufficient differences to distinguish it from A. leptorhachis  .
