It dIffErs frOm thE fOrmEr IN thAt It Is much lArGEr ANd NOt fOuNd IN JAmAIcA. AddItIONAlly, thE spErmAthEcAE ANd fErtIlIZAtION ducts ArE dIffErENt; thE pOstErOdOrsAl fOld IN S. wilsoni cOmplEtEly cOvErs thE spErmAthEcAE but dOEs NOt IN thE NEw spEcIEs. ThE EpIGyNE Of thE NEw spEcIEs AlsO dIffErs frOm S. duan . ThE EpIGyNAl plAtE Is OvAl IN S. duan ANd NOt OvAl IN thE NEw spEcIEs.
