Male. Body small. Fastigium verticis conical, dorsal surface furrowed along the midline (Fig. 1A). Eyes spherical, projecting forward and slightly outwards. Apical segments of maxillary palpi slightly longer than subapical ones, apices slightly inflated (Fig. 1B). Thorax. Anterior margin of pronotum substraight, posterior margin rounded (Fig. 1A); lateral lobes longer than high, narrowing to backward, humeral sinus indistinct (Fig. 1B). Legs. Fore coxae with 1 small spine. All femora unarmed on ventral surfaces, apices of genicular lobes of hind femora obtusely rounded. Fore and middle tibiae ventrally with 4–5 pairs of spines and 1 pair of apical spines; tibial tympana open on both sides, ovoid. Hind tibiae with 22–27 internal spines and 23–29 external spines on dorsal surfaces, ventral surfaces with 2–7 pairs of spines, apices with 1 pair of dorsal spurs and 2 pairs of ventral spurs. Tegmina and wings. Tegmina short and slightly surpassing the posterior margin of pronotum, reaching the middle of third abdominal tergite. Hind wings absent (Fig. 1B). Abdomen. Posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite faintly excavated. Cercus conical in lateral view (Fig. 1D), interno-dorsal margin faintly expanded (Fig. 1C), interno-ventral margin with 1 long median lobe (Fig. 1E) which curving upwards and apical margin obtuse (Fig. 1C). Subgenital plate with base transverse, lateral margins rolling dorsad and converging, posterior margin almost straight with middle area slightly projecting (Fig. 1G). Styli subconical, apices obtuse, located on latero-apical angles of subgenital plate on posterior margin.</p><p>Female. Slightly larger than male. Lateral margins of ninth abdominal tergite with widely extending posteriorly, the apical margin nearly truncate (Fig. 1H). Cercus short and stout, conical, apex subacute. Ovipositor short, moderately upcurved behind middle, dorsal valvulae with tip acute, ventral valvulae with a small apical hook (Fig. 1L). Subgenital plate wider than long, lateral margins convex, posterior margin with a small median concavity, the lateral lobes rounded (Fig. 1J).</p><p>Coloration. Body yellowish brown. Eyes black brown. Antennal socket and internal margins of basal two segments of antennae black, flagellum with brownish ring at apical area of each segment. Dorsal surface of head with four longitudinal blackish brown stripes, the external stripes fine and extending to the inside of antennal socket, internal longitudinal stripes wide and fused at apex of fastigium verticis. Disc of pronotum with a longitudinal blackish brown stripe on both sides, between them brown. Apices of femora and tarsi blackish brown.</p><p>Measurements (mm). BL: ♂ 8.3 – 8.6, ♀ 8.6 – 9.5; PL: ♂ 4.0 – 4.3, ♀ 3.9 – 4.2; TL: ♂ 1.2 – 1.5, ♀ 1.0 – 1.3; HFL: ♂ 8.5 – 9.1, ♀ 8.5 – 8.9; OvL: 5.1 – 5.3.</p><p>Material examined.   Holotype: male, Xiaoheishan,  Longling, Yunnan, September 5, 2024, coll. by Ting Luo and Yanting Qin  .  Paratypes: 3 males and 3 females, the other information as holotype. Other specimens: 3 males, the other information as holotype.</p><p>Distribution. Yunnan (Longling).</p><p>Discussion. The species differs from other species of  Phlugiolopsis in male cerci short, conical in lateral view, with 1 long ventral lobe in middle area (Fig. 1E); female subgenital plate kidney-shaped, apical area bilobate, the lateral lobes obtuse (Fig. 1J).</p><p>Etymology. Subgenital plate longer than wide, lateral margins convex and then converging, posterior margin lobate projecting. Styli conical, curving forward, inserted on both sides of the posterior margin of subgenital plate (Fig. 2E).</p><p>Female. Similar in appearance to male, larger. Ovipositor gradually upcurved behind middle area, apices of dorsal valvulae acute, ventral valvulae with a small apical hook (Fig. 2I). Subgenital plate wider than long, ventral surface with 1 concavity on each side; lateral margins subparallel; posterior margin triangular with fainty excavated in middle (Fig. 2J).</p><p>Coloration. Body brown. Eyes black. Antennal socket and internal margins of basal two segments of antennae black, flagellum with brownish ring at apical area of each segment. Dorsal surface of head with four longitudinal blackish brown stripes, the external stripes extending to the inside of antennal socket, inner longitudinal stripes wide and fused at apex of fastigium verticis. The species resembles  Phlugiolopsis brevis Xia &amp; Liu, 1993 but differs in the following aspects: basal half of male cerci narrowly expanded, the margins thickened and straight; posterior margin of male subgenital plate almost straight, not excavated; ventral surface of female subgenital plate concave on lateral areas instead of middle area.</p><p>Etymology. Subgenital plate transverse, lateral margins narrowing; posterior margin straight with prolonged median process which gradually upcurved (Fig. 3E, G). Styli slender, apices obtuse, inserted on both sides of apical third on ventral surface of subgenital plate (Fig. 3G).</p><p>Female. Ovipositor short, faintly upcurved behind middle area, dorsal valvulae with tip acute, ventral valvulae with a small hook at tip (Fig. 3H). Subgenital plate subrectangular, lateral margins faintly converging, posterior margin truncate, ventral surface triangularly concave in middle (Fig. 3K).</p><p>Coloration. Body brown. Eyes black. Dorsal surface of head with four longitudinal blackish brown stripes, the external stripes extending to the inside of antennal socket, inner longitudinal stripes wide and fused at apex of fastigium verticis. Male. Body small. Fastigium verticis conical, furrowed along the midline (Fig. 5A). Eyes spherical, projecting outwards. Apical segments of maxillary palpi longer than subapical ones, apices slightly inflated (Fig. 5B). Thorax. Anterior margin of pronotum nearly straight, posterior margin rounded (Fig. 5B); lateral lobes longer than high, narrowing to backward, humeral sinus indistinct (Fig. 5B). Legs. Fore coxae with 1 small spine. All femora unarmed on ventral surfaces, apices of genicular lobes of hind femora obtusely rounded. Fore tibiae ventrally with 3–4 internal spines, 4 external of spines and 1 pair of apical spines; tibial tympana open on both sides, ovoid. Middle tibiae ventrally with 2–4 internal spines, 3–4 external spines and 1 pair of apical spines. Hind tibiae with 16–21 pairs of spines on dorsal surfaces, ventral surfaces with 2 internal and 3 external spines, apices with 1 pair of dorsal spurs and 2 pairs of ventral spurs. Tegmina and wings. Tegmina short and slightly surpassing the posterior margin of pronotum, reaching the middle of second abdominal tergite. Hind wings absent (Fig. 5B). Abdomen. Posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite faintly excavated in middle (Fig. 5C). Cercus short, basal half with 1 semicircular lobe on interno-dorsal margins (Fig. 5D), apical half spoon-shaped (Fig. 5E); ventral margin with 1 triangular lobe (Fig. 5F). Subgenital plate longer than wide, base transverse, lateral margins rolling dorsad and converging, posterior margin faintly projecting (Fig. 5F). Styli slender, apices obtuse, inserted on postero-lateral angles of subgenital plate (Fig. 5F).</p><p>Female. Larger than male. Tenth abdominal tergite narrow posteriorly faintly concave. Cercus conical, apex acute. Ovipositor moderately upcurved, stout at base, narrowing toward tip, apices of dorsal valvulae acute, ventral valvulae with an indistinct hook at apices (Fig. 5H). Subgenital plate semielliptical, posterior margin rounded with a small median concavity (Fig. 5I).</p><p>Coloration. Body blackish. Eyes brown.Antennal socket and internal margins of basal two segments of antennae black, flagellum with blackish ring at apical area of each segment. Dorsal surface of head with four longitudinal blackish brown stripes. Disc of pronotum with a longitudinal black stripe on both sides, between them blackish brown. Apices of femora and tarsi blackish brown. Abdominal tergites and sternites blackish brown.</p><p>Measurements (mm). BL: ♂ 6.8–7.3, ♀ 8.7; PL: ♂ 3.0–3.3, ♀ 3.7; TL: ♂ 1.1–1.3, ♀ 1.4; HFL: ♂ 6.2–6.6, ♀ 8.0; OvL: 4.8</p><p>Material examined.   Holotype: male, Xiaoheishan,  Longling, Yunnan, September 5, 2024, coll. by Ting Luo and Yanting Qin  .   Paratypes: 1 female, the other information as holotype; 1 male, Dahaoping, Gaoligongshan,  Tengchong, Yunnan, September 1, 2024, coll. by Ting Luo and Yanting Qin  .</p><p>Distribution. Yunnan (Longling, Tengchong).</p><p>Discussion. The new species differs from other species of  Phlugiolopsis by the shape of male cerci: interno-dorsal margin with 1 circular lobe, directing upward; middle area with 1 triangular ventral process; apical area expanded on dorsal margin, apical margin bifurcated in lateral view.</p><p>Etymology.
