W. Zhou, LWZ 20171014 - 13 (holotype in HMAS). Etymology: vietnamensis (Lat.), refers to the country “ Vietnam ” where the holotype was collected. Diagnosis: Differing from other species of Phylloporia by annual, terrestrial, eccentrically stipitate basidiomes, small pores (9 – 11 per mm), a dimitic hyphal system in the upper tomentum, and the presence of cystidioles. Description: Basidiomes annual, eccentrically stipitate, without odor or taste, becoming lighter and hard when dry. Pilei semi-circular to circular, up to 4.5 cm long, 2.5 cm wide, and 0.1 – 0.3 cm thick. Pileal surface honey-yellow to grayish brown when dry, concentrically sulcate. Pore surface honey-yellow to grayish brown when dry; pore 9 – 11 per mm; dissepiments thin, entire. Context thin, up to 1.3 mm thick, duplex, separated with a black line, the lower context cinnamon-buff, hard corky, up to 1 mm thick, the upper context as tomentum, clay-buff, up to 0.3 mm thick. Tubes honey-yellow, woody, up to 2 mm long. Stipe honey-yellow to grayish brown, cylindrical or more frequently flattened, up to 3 cm long and 1.5 cm in diam. Hyphal system dimitic in upper tomentum, monomitic in lower context and trama; generative hyphae simple septate; tissue darkening but otherwise unchanged in KOH. In upper tomentum, generative hyphae colorless to buff-yellow, thick-walled, unbranched, 3.5 – 6 μm in diam; skeletal hyphae infrequent, golden yellow, thick-walled, unbranched, 4 – 6 μm in diam. In lower context, generative hyphae colorless to buff-yellow, thin to thick-walled, occasionally branched, 2.5 – 5 μm in diam. Tube generative hyphae colorless to coral, subparallel along the tubes, thin to thick-walled, occasionally branched, 2.5 – 4.5 μm in diam. Cystidioles rarely present, lageniform, colorless, thin-walled, 10 – 15 × 3 – 5 μm. Basidia clavate to subclavate, with four sterigmata, colorless, thin-walled, 8 – 12 × 3 – 5 μm; basidioles similar to basidia in shape, but slightly smaller. Basidiospores abundant, slightly thick walled, ellipsoid, yellowish, inamyloid, acyanophilous, 3 – 4 × (1.8 –) 2 – 2.4 µm, L = 3.45 µm, W = 2.1 µm, Q = 1.64 (n = 30 / 1).	en	Wei, Hao-Wen, Zhao, Jing, Wang, Yan, Liu, Shi-Liang, Wang, Xue-Wei, Zhou, Li-Wei (2024): Phylloporia vietnamensis sp. nov.
