Taxonomic remarks: — Lecanorchis ohwii can be diagnosed by the following combination of characters: inflorescences always simple aboveground, 10 – 30 cm tall; scape ± soft and fleshy in flowering; sepals 14 – 19 mm long, semi-spreading; lip 13 – 18 mm long, obviously 3 - lobed; side-lobes of lip acute at apices, entire in margins; mid-lobe of lip elliptic-rectangular, ± recurved, 5 – 7 mm long and wide when flattened; hairs on mid-lobe of lip densely papillose near apices (Fig. 2 Q); column 10 – 12 mm long, with well-developed column wings nearly entirely fusing with clinandrium (Fig. 2 J – L). Correct descriptions and illustrations of this species could also be seen in Lin (1987: 147 – 149; pl. 85 – 88, as L. cerina var. albidus), Chung (2008: 50, as L. kiusiana; 2015: 255, as L. cerina var. albidus) and Hsu & Chung (2016: 100, as L. kiusiana var. albida).
