Branches yellowish brown, wrinkled, glabrous. Leaf simple, alternate; petiole 7 – 10 mm; leaf blade obvoid, 5 – 13 × 3 – 5 cm; base symatric, margin entier, apex acuminate. Pinnately veined; midrib adaxially depressed; nerves 3 – 5 pairs, joined near the margin. Inflorescences terminal or axillary, proximal flowers in pedunculate umbels or cymes, distal flowers solitary. Flowers bisexual; actinomorphic; 5 merous. Perianth tube obvoid, green; calyx 5 lobed, equal, valvate, green. Stamens inserted opposite calyx lobes. Disk complete, 5 - lobed, glabrous. Ovary inferior, 2 - celled; style 1; stigma small, capitate. Fruit drupe; pear to obvoid, 4 – 6 cm, base narrowed into robust stipe, apex nearly truncate, slightly sunken in young fruits; apex with 5 - lobed calyx persistent and disk enlarging to more than 4 mm in diam, and 5 brown stamens scars.
