Exorbital tooth low, blunt; epibranchial, intermediate teeth small, distinct; (figs. 2 A, 3 A). Postfrontal crest distinct, completely traversing carapace, lateral ends encounter epibranchial teeth; mid-groove on postfrontal crest short, forked (figs. 2 A, 3 A, 5 A). Carapace lateral margin raised, marked by row of small granules; lateral margin curving inward over carapace posteriorly, not continuous with posterolateral margin (figs. 2 A, 3 A, 5 A). Third maxillipeds filling entire buccal cavern except for transversely oval efferent respiratory openings at superior lateral corners; exopod with well-developed flagellum; ischium with distinct vertical sulcus (figs. 4 C, 5 C, 6 O). Thoracic sternal sulcus Sl / 2 short, distinct, S 2 / 3 deep, straight, completely traversing sternum, S 3 / 4 reduced to 2 short notches laterally; episternal sulci S 4 / E 4 - S 6 / E 6 clearly visible; S 7 / E 7 obscure (fig. 4 C). Male chelipeds unequal; fingers slim, elongated (figs., 6 K, L). Major cheliped dactylus stout, slightly arched, lined by small teeth, leaving long narrow interspace when tips touching; minor chela dactylus straight, cutting edge meeting that of propodus pollex leaving no interspace (figs., 6 K); lower margin of propodus of major, minor chelae almost straight lacking curved indentation (fig. 6 L). Cheliped inferior margins of merus lined by granules, distal tooth low, blunt; merus superior surface with rows of carinae (fig. 6 M). Cheliped carpus inner margin with large, broad pointed distal tooth, proximal tooth small, followed by granule (fig. 6 M). Walking legs P 2 - 5 robust, P 3 longest, P 5 shortest; dactyli P 2 - 5 with downward-pointing short stiff setae; P 5 dactylus short (fig. 2 C). Male pleon broadly triangular with straight margins. Pleomeres PLl- 6 with telson forming slim tapering triangle with indented sides, and rounded distal margin; PL 3 broadest (fig. 4 C). G 1 TA stout, curved, medium length, ca. two-fifths as long as G 2 SA (G 1 TA / G 1 SA = 0.4), G 1 SA broadest basally, tapering gently, lateral margin gently curved inward, (fig. 7 G, H); G 2 TA long, ca. two thirds of G 2 TA length (G 2 TA / G 2 SA = 0.6), flagellum-like (fig. 7 I).
