S. Dibner and M. A. Lytle.</p><p>Description: Thallus a membranous, distromatic blade, light green in color, up to 7.0 cm high and 1.5 cm wide. Blades clavate to lanceolate with smooth, slightly undulating margins. Cells in surface view polygonal, irregularly arranged, 10 – 35 µm in diameter. In transverse section, cells rectangular with length:width ratios varying from &lt;1 to 2, and maximum diameters up to 25 µm. One pyrenoid per cell.
