Material examined. 1 male, CHINA, Shanghai, 30-viii-2016, coll. HE Zhu-Qing; 1 male, CHINA, Shandong, Dongying, 1-viii-2012, coll. HE Zhu-Qing.
Distribution. China (Hainan, Shandong, Zhejiang).
Note. Males of this species are similar to V. micado, but females have shorter tegmina (Fig. 1g). It is univoltine in Shanghai, overwintering as eggs. Adults are usually stationary or slow moving.
