Material examined. 1 male, CHINA, Taiwan, Nantou, Ren’ai, Huisun, 11-xi-2012, coll. HE Zhu-Qing. Distribution. China (Taiwan).

Note. This is endemic species to Taiwan. Its state was confused with Modicogryllus and Velarifictorus by different taxonomists (Fig. 1b). According to the molecular result, this species is clearly belongs to Velarifictorus .
