Aquarius paludum paludum (Fabricius, 1794)

Remarks. This species is distributed from Palearctic to Oriental region. It is present in almost all Italian regions, Sicily excluded. It is typical of standing or slow running waters, from coastal areas to mountains (Cianferoni 2009). This is the first record for the Park.
