Goja yarumosensis n. sp. Male

Diagnosis. Forewing R2+3 unbranched, R4+5 forked, with four veins as illustrated; hindwing venation caeciliusid. Anterior endophallic sclerites with two acuminate processes directed outward; posterior endophallic sclerites proximally broad, elongate, distal halves bent anteriorly, slender, acuminate (Fig. 117). Similar to G. pillcopatensis n. sp., for differences with it, see diagnosis of the latter above.
Color (in 80% ethanol). Body brown. Head (Fig. 114): vertex brown; front brown; postclypeus brown with dark striae converging medially; genae and postgenae dark brown. Compound eyes black; ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents; anteclypeus and labrum brown; labral sclerites dark brown. Antennae: scape and pedicel brown; flagellomeres pale brown. Maxillary palps brown. Thorax pale brown, tergal lobes of mesothorax pale brown, tergal lobes of metathorax brown; thoracic pleura brown. Fore- legs missing; mid- and hind- coxae and trochanters brown; mid- and hind- femora cream; mid- and hind- tibiae and tarsi pale brown. Forewings (Fig. 112) amber, veins brown. Hindwings (Fig. 113) amber, clearer than forewings, veins brown. Abdomen cream. Clunium brown. Hypandrium brown. Phallosome: aedeagal arch dark brown, endophallic sclerites brown; external parameres yellowish, apices brown. Epiproct and paraprocts brown.
Morphology. As in diagnosis, plus the following: Head: H/MxW: 1.33; compound eyes large, H/d: 4.26; IO/ MxW: 0.78. Outer cusp of lacinial tips broad, with 7–8 denticles. Mx4/Mx2: 1.15. Forewings (Fig. 112): FW/W: 2.61. Pterostigma long, wider in the middle: lp/wp: 4.64; areola postica low, long al/ah: 3.29. Hindwings (Fig. 113): HW/w: 3.03. Hypandrium (Fig. 116), with almost straight posterior margin, setose; phallosome (Fig. 117) almost straight anteriorly; side struts straight, slender; aedeagal arch slender, posterior process short, triangular; external parameres well-developed, attached to side struts, membranous, broad, rounded posteriorly, sclerotized, bearing pores. Paraprocts (Fig. 115), semi-oval, with setae and microsetae on distal area, large sensory fields, with 25–27 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Epiproct (Fig. 115) wide, rounded posteriorly, with two lateral macrosetae, one macroseta mesally, distal setal field as illustrated.

Specimen studied. Holotype male. COLOMBIA. Valle del Cauca, Santiago de Cali, la Leonera, El Pato, Reserva Natural Los Yarumos, 3°26’59.4”N: 76°39’49.5”W, 2328 m., 29.IV.2012, R. González & N. Carrejo. Beating vegetation and dead branches.
Etymology. The specific name refers to Los Yarumos Natural Reserve, Santiago de Cali, where the holotype was found.
