Host plant. Rhododendron L. ( Ericaceae) (Kwon 1983).
Comments. Specimens of Cacopsylla rhododendri from the Korean Peninsula (NHMB, NIBR) differ slightly from European material (NHMB). Cacopsylla rhododendri from Japan and the Russian Far East is probably conspecific with the Korean population representing perhaps a different species from that in Europe. The Korean material at hand is insufficient to interpret these differences and, pending a revision of the group, we keep the Korean populations under C. rhododendri .
