Panama to Peru (Coan and Valentich-Scott 2012).
Remarks.
These specimens represent the shallowest bathymetric records so far for Malletia goniura (836-941 m). It has previously been collected in deeper waters (1,500-3,300 m depth) (Coan and Valentich-Scott 2012).
