Type locality. North American Basin (39°46.5’N, 70°43.3’W), 1330–1470 m .

Type material. Holotype USNM 850201 (1 spm + 1 slide with sclerites); paratypes USNM 850202 (1 spm + 1 slide with sclerites), USNM 850204 (1 spm + 1 slide with sclerites), USNM 850206 (1 spm + 1 slide with sclerites), USNM 850208 (1 spm + 1 slide with sclerites).

Remarks. Although USNM 850203 and USNM 850207 have labels indicating their status as paratypes, they were not originally designated as type material by Scheltema (1985, p. 502), and thus have no type status.
