Genus Minutaleyrodes Jesudasan and David, 1990

Type species: Dialeurodes minuta Singh, 1931: 42–43, by original designation.

Diagnosis. Puparia minute; with or without any wax secretion, colourless; wider at first abdominal segment and nar-

rowed anteriorly and posteriorly; median length of cephalothorax longer than abdomen; margin weakly crenulate; tracheal pore openings differentiated from margin, cleft-like; dorsum faintly tessellated or devoid of tessellations; submargin not differentiated dorsally, distinct on the ventral surface; dorsum lacks granulations; tubercles present; submarginal papillae may be present, usually at anterior and posterior margins only; transverse moulting suture extends posteriorly to the subdorsum and then bends upwards and meets the margin slightly below the thoracic tracheal pore region; thoracic tracheal furrows wanting while caudal tracheal furrow distinct. Vasiform orifice subcordate; operculum subcordate; lingula obscured or exposed. Ventral submargin demarcated by a submarginal ventral fold; thoracic tracheal folds faintly indicated; caudal tracheal fold present.
