Distribution in Iran. Guilan, Mazandaran (Farahani et al. 2014b).

Distribution outside Iran. Greece (van Achterberg 1983 as Gnaptodon breviradialis; Papp 2007), France, Hungary (van Achterberg 1983; Yu et al. 2012).

Host records. In Greece, it is reported from Niepeltia lorathella (Kliemesch) ( Lepidoptera: Nepticulidae) on Loranthus europaeus and from Ectoedemia mahalebella (Klimesch) ( Lepidoptera: Nepticulidae) on Prunus mahaleb and from Stigmella amygdali (Kliemesch) ( Lepidoptera: Nepticulidae) on Prunus cocomilia; in France, from Stigmella ulmivora (Fologne) ( Lepidoptera: Nepticulidae) on Ulmus sp.
