Triancyra graptothoracalis Wang & Hu, 1992 . Sinozoologia, 9: 318. Holotype: ♀, China: Hainan Island (IZCAS).

Diagnosis. Ground colour lemon yellow with black marks; occipital carina complete; inter-ocellar line equal to ocellar-ocular distance; ventral half of mesopleuron, entire mesosternum and metapleuron black.

Distribution. Previously this species was known only from China (Hainan Island) (Wang & Hu, 1992). These are the first records of this species from Vietnam.
