Diagnosis. Recognized by the relatively large size, the bright yellow scutellum and basal two-thirds of cuneus, the presence of more or less developed dark brown longitudinal stripe along inner margin of hemelytron, the welldeveloped right paramere, the membranous twin-lobed vesica, and the bean-shaped sclerotized rings of the dorsal labiate plate.

Description. Female. COLORATION (Figs 3, 5, 6): Dorsum whitish yellow with dark, red and yellow markings. Head: Dark brown to black, base of vertex with dirty yellow to dirty brown spot near each eye; antennal segment I typically yellow with dark brown apex and more or less expressed reddish markings, in pale specimens yellow with reddish base and apex; segment II uniformly dark brown, rarely with paler apex; segment III pale brown with darkened base, rarely uniformly pale brown; segment IV pale brown; eye dark reddish; labium whitish yellow with darkened apex of segment IV. Thorax: Pronotum whitish yellow, semitransparent, with broad, transverse, laterally extending band across calli, ranging in color from uniformly dirty orange to dark brown with more or less expressed orange midline; meso- and metathoracic pleura dirty yellow to brown; exposed part of mesonotum orange to brown, dark brown at sides; scutellum bright yellow, with narrowly darkened basal angles. Legs: Uniformly pale yellow, apical half of hind femur and basal part of hind tibia in dark specimens pale brown to brown. Hemelytron: whitish, semitransparent, with more or less darkened inner margin; clavus pale brown to brown, with narrowly dark brown inner margin; corium whitish, with dark brown costal margin and more or less darkened medioapical area, rarely uniformly whitish; cuneus bright yellow, pale brown in faded old specimens, with dark red apical third; membrane translucent, pale brown, with reddish cells. Abdomen: Dirty yellow, with contrastingly black segment IX.

STRUCTURE: Body 4.2–4.4 × as long as width of pronotum; total length 4.2–4.4; vertex 1.7–2.0 × as wide as eye, 0.8–0.9 × as wide as length of antennal segment I; segment II 1.5–1.8 × as long as basal width of pronotum, 2.1–2.4 × as long as width of head; pronotum 1.6–1.7 × as long as antennal segment I, 1.5–1.7 × as wide as long.

GENITALIA: As in Figs. 31–35. Sclerotized rings of dorsal labiate plate large, bean shaped, broadly rounded basally, with angulate inner apical angles (Figs. 31, 35).

Male. COLORATION (Fig. 4): Similar to female but with better expressed dark brown longitudinal stripe on inner margin of hemelytron and dark brown apical part of cuneus.

STRUCTURE. Body 4.5 × as long as width of pronotum; total length 3.6–3.9; vertex 1.4–1.5 × as wide as eye, 0.7 × as wide as length of antennal segment I; segment II 2.1–2.2 × as long as basal width of pronotum, 2.7–2.9 × as long as width of head; pronotum 1.4 ×as long as antennal segment I, 1.5–1.6 × as wide as long.

GENITALIA. Right paramere well developed, similar in shape to left one; left paramere less than 1.5 X as long as right, with gradually tapering apical process (Figs. 23–26); vesica entirely membranous, without sclerites, finely serrated apically (Figs. 29–30).
