2.2.8 Pleurotheciales ( Sordariomycetes, Ascomycota)

Two Phaeoisaria species are found in marine habitats: Ph. sedimenticola isolated from surface marine sediment in the inter-tidal zone, Shandong, China (Cheng et al. 2014) and Ph. clematidis in mangrove litter (Devadatha et al. 2021; Maria and Sridhar 2003). Pleurotheciaceae was introduced by Reblová´et al. (2016) in Pleurotheciales ( Sordariomycetes) and is included for the first time in the checklist of marine fungi.
