Measurements. BL = 6.9 mm, BW = 1.4 mm, HL/PL/EL = 1.00: 1.10: 1.30, HW/PW/EW/AW = 1.00: 1.11: 1.42: 1.27, HW/HL = 1.02, HEL/HTL = 8.96, PW/PL = 1.03, EW/EL = 1.11, ESL/EL = 0.55.

Distribution. Quedius muscicola Cameron is known from Myanmar, and from the mountain areas from the Himalayan range (India, Nepal) to southwestern China (Gansu, Guizhou, Hubei, Shaanxi, Sichuan and Yunnan Province), at altitudes from 650 m to 2800 m. Many of the examined specimens were collected in bushes, stacks of withered grass, leaf litter, or at the edges of creeks.
