A. velox Forel, 1899

(Figs 3B, 4O) 3 ☿): “ A. velox Forel ☿ Burithaka (Columbien) [=Buritaca, Colombia] [leg.] Forel”. Forel (1899) mentioned his (re-)description: “…Colombie, pied de la Sierra Nevada (Forel)” which fits well with the label’s locality, located north of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. However, A. velox is a replacement name for A. coeruleipennis var. fasciata Pergande, 1896, based on homonymy. Hence Forel’s specimens of A. velox are not syntypes, but are included and illustrated here to avoid misinterpretations.
