Host plants. Quercus variabilia [ Fagaceae] in Korea (Kumata et al. 1983; De Prins & De Prins 2006 –2023). Quercus acutissima, Q. variabilis [ Fagaceae] in Japan (Kumata 1963a; Fujihara et al. 2001; De Prins & De Prins 2006 –2023). Quercus mongolica [ Fagaceae] in Russia (De Prins & De Prins 2006 –2023; Kirichenko et al. 2019).
